2017

Hi!

I’ve not been about for a while, I know that last year I had intentions of blogging more and it didn’t happen .. I think I might have even said it the year before as well but life has always got in the way! 

2016 was a pretty shitty year for me in general. I started the year with Barry the Bloodclot in my leg, a potentially life threatening illness which fortunately has now cleared but wasn’t a fun time for anyone while he was with us. sadly towards the end of last year and at the start of this year, I lost some family members who were very dear to me. The past few months have been a dark time because frankly, I’m not someone that deals with death well. 

That combined with work issues and a business which spiralled out of my control for a while made for a pretty hectic year. 

The best thing to come out of 2016 was my wonderful relationship with my amazing Mark. I’m a very lucky girl and can’t wait to see what the future holds for us. 

Moving forward with the year ahead, I have lots of content ideas for my blog so I’m going to ressurect her from the ashes, blow off the dust and start sharing content again. 

 I am passionate about plus size fashion, Disney bounding and cosplay so I’m super excited to start sharing some of my latest finds, ideas on upcycling clothes into Disney fashion, how I outfit plan for trips, some of my fave custom made dress sellers and there may even be a sneaky little collaboration in the works! 

Let me know if you want to see more Disney inspired make up looks … I know I only shared a couple but I do have plenty of ideas for more if that’s something you might want to see? 

I will also have a big post on my Halloween soirée costume as becoming Ursula was a pretty spectacular achievement for me and I had the most incredible night. 

I also have some posts coming up on Disney DIYs, painting projects I’m working on, my ever growing Alice in Wonderland collection and lots more …

There is never very much available in the UK for the plus size amoungst us, but I am going to try and round up what is available on a monthly basis!

Etsy Store Update! 

As you probably know by now, I have an Etsy store which you can find here. 

I’ve started adding some more items to my store including custom Disney ears, hand painted shoes, cushion covers and scarves. 

The newest editions are the custom Disney ears and they’ve proved to be pretty popular so far which is super exciting! I have videos of both my Sleeping Beauty and Snow White bespoke ears available to view – just click the name you want to see!   

To order your own pair you just need to buy using the custom design listing on my Etsy (this secures your place in the queue of orders) then I will contact you to get to work on your design. 

I also have two options for painted shoes! For custom painted children’s shoes, select the children’s option. For adult custom painted shoes, select the adult option. Again, purchasing secures your place in the queue, once you have paid I will contact you with design ideas! 

   
I also have some super sparkly custom crystal shoes! I wore mine at DLP and they got a lot of attention as they are so glittery!! You can buy yours here – this price includes the shoes!!
