Plus Size Disney Wish List

The availability of Plus Sized Disney clothing is pretty crappy in the UK. This means that I end up spending hours lusting over American sites which have extortionate shipping fees and then on top of that customs fees when the items finally arrive. That being said, it doesn’t stop me doing it and I thought I’d share some of my fave items online at the moment

Starting with Torrid

Jack Skellington Dress – Torrid

Coco Kimono – Torrid

Mickey Raincoat – Torrid

Mickey Leggings – Torrid

Scar T Shirt – Torrid

We had some good news in the UK when EMP UK opened here. This is an app which brings clothing from American stores to the U.K. so we can get clothing from Torrid and Hot Topic without the shipping fees. The prices tend to be higher as a result but that’s to be expected. Unfortunately at the moment the plus size availability is limited so I have only included items that I enjoy which come in a size 26/28 and above – so would fit me!

Lilo & Stitch Dress – EMP UK

Cinderella Dress – EMP UK

Aladdin Dress – EMP UK

Yours clothing usually have some Disney design Jammies available for the plus size market so that’s nice. Right now I’m loving this cute night dress

Minnie Nightie – Yours Clothing

Etsy has a plethora of amazing companies that make bespoke Disney designs, including t shirts, dresses, cosplays etc …

I’ve included a few of my faves right now

Peter Pan Mermaid Tee – Etsy

Figment Tee – Etsy

Cheshire Cat Skirt – Etsy

Hocus Pocus Tee – Etsy

This little lot would cost me a small fortune to buy … a girl can dream though can’t she?  😂

What are you eyeing up online at the moment?

Disney Halloween Twitter Gift Exchange

A few weeks ago I saw a tweet from the lovely @kindnesscourage asking if anyone wished to be added to the #DisneyhalloweenGE and I couldn’t resist the urge to get involved as I do like to send a surprise gift!

Full details of the Halloween gift exchange were shared on Hannah’s blog here but in summary you provided details of your fave Disney characters and films and were added to a list. When purchasing, you had a budget of £10 to create a gift box for a name you would be given on the 2nd October along with details of their fave characters etc.

We knew that the deadline for posting the boxes was Friday 13th October but as I was away for a week from that date I was excited to get my gift when I returned from holiday! I wasn’t disappointed!

Upon arriving home today I received this gorgeous package

From the very lovely @laurenroseh on Twitter! I cannot thank Lauren enough for my beautiful gift.

I stated that Alice in Wonderland and Ursula were my faves and she bought be a stunning pen and awesome villain socks to cover that. I also got a gorgeous mickey purse and yummy chocolate pumpkin lolly!

I am so happy and glad I took part in the exchange! Please take a look at the #disneyhalloweenGE to see other gifts sent and received.

I also encourage you to follow @kindnesscourage on Twitter and her awesome blog for lovely Disney content and fun events like this exchange.

Do you think the exchange is something you might choose to take part in next year?

Thank Alyssa xx
