Irregular Choice – Princess Collection!

Hey Friends!

My absolute fave shoe company are at it again with another amazing Disney collaboration!

Previous collections have included Alice in Wonderland, Toy Story, The Muppets and a Cinderella release.

This time Irregular Choice are featuring everything Disney Princess!

This photo popped up on their Instagram today along with a statement that the collection will have Six Different releases, all relating to a specific princess and will also feature their side kicks and villains!

The range will include adult shoes, children’s shoes, bags, purses and tights so a little something for everyone!

The first collection will drop in store and online on the 26th July 2019 at 12 noon UK time!!

Disney Designer Collaboration Ear Collection 2019/2020

Hi Friends!

I’m sure that you have heard by now that the Disney parks are releasing their own collection of Designer Ears in collaboration with some pretty awesome names in both Disney and Fashion!

This collection isn’t cheap! We know that the Alex and Ani Ears are $178 but the price point for other designs haven’t been released yet.

If you are a big Disney collector and ear lover, you may want to treat yourself so I’ve collaborated a list of as many designs I can find and their release dates!

**sadly none are being released in Paris, they are all Disneyland and WDW**

Plus Size Disney – ASOS Curve Lion King Collection.

It’s rare that a UK plus size range does a Disney clothing collaboration, so I get super excited when I see one. Imagine my excitement to see that not only have ASOS Curve done a Disney Lion King designer collaboration range BUT they have also made the collection up to a SIZE 30!!!!

You can view the full collection here but these are the items that are available up to a size 30 as they’re the most important ones!

Snag Tights

Hello friends,

I has been a while since i have blogged but i am intending to create ore content in the coming year so hopefully that’s something for you to look forward to.

The end of 2018 saw me find my holy grail tights company and it was such a revelation that I felt that i had to share it! I have struggled with tights for years, the ‘make do’ solution i was using were the All woman 180 Denier tights from The Big Bloomers Company  but honestly that was because they were my only option. They have a thick cycling short style top and then thick and extremely long tights attached to them, they are resticting on the leg where the cycling shorts join the tights and this often meant that the shorts would show below my dress, i also had issues with saggy ankles. All, in all, I hated them.

I started seeing people posting about Snag tights on Instagram and immediately that they used a UK size 26 model in their campaign and thought i should have a look. I was immediately put off by the fact that it said they oly fitted up to size 30. My experience in tights brands in the uk is that they always come up far smaller than they say, the All woman tights i mentioned earlier for example are meant to fit a size 42 and as i explained earlier, I struggled with them. The price point of £6.99 convinced me to give them a go though and i’m SO glad that I did.

I would say that the size G can easily fit up to a size 36, I am a size 32 and have plenty of room in my tights that i could probably go down to the size F. The site says to handwash your tights, I honestly wash mine in the machine on a quick wash and then hang them to dry and have had no issues with shrinkage or damage.

Snag Tight have changed my life. I have a whole new wardrobe to shop from now as I am comfortable wearing tights and whats even better is that they have  whole array of colours which seem to be increasing regularly, this excites me so much. I have tested the tights on full disney days which involve a lot of walking and getting sweaty and they remained comfortable, in place and chub rub free for te entire time.

Even their instagram is a bright fun awesome place to hang out with customers of all shapes and sizes providing feedback and loving this awesome new brand – just look how colourful and vibrant they are!

They always have a multiple purchase offer on which is Any 3 items 10% off, 5 items 15% off, 10 items 25% off and this is applied automatically at checkout, you do not need a code. They als offer FREE shipping over £15.

Again, I cannot recommend this brand highly enough, please do try them – you won’t regret it.

Disney Villains – The Horoscope Collection

Hi Friends,

I have been thinking for some time about making a collection of artwork based around a theme. Villains are obviously my favourite of all Disney characters and with it coming up to Halloween the majority of my inspiration ideas centred around villains.

After much deliberation and doodling I decided to do a series of Disney Villains as Horoscopes, not only did I want to depict them in the specific style of the Horoscope signs but I also wanted the ‘negative’ traits of that sign to be representative of the villain that I chose … quite the task I set myself!

The idea behind this Collection is that all of the designs will eventually be added together to create a fabric that will be used to make bespoke border skirts with the entire Horoscope represented and obviously 12 villainous favourites. I will be releasing a character per month in line with the star signs changing, which means that the final design will be August – September 2019 just in time for me to get the fabric made for next Halloween! (didn’t I plan that well)

So, who is the first design you my be asking?

September 23 – October 22 = Libra

Libra negative traits include; Impatient, indecisive, insensitive, complainer, manipulative, Co-dependent, self-indulgent, Gossipy, Fragile, Selfish and Sulky

To me, these traits perfectly represent Yzma

Yzma is shown with her arms in a scale like position to represent the Libra scales with Kronk’s good and bad conscious on each hand for balance.

I have made this design available on my Redbubble on a variety of items, I will shortly have prints available too.

This particular design works well as a standalone and during consultation a lot of non-Libyans asked for me to make it available on its own without the Horoscope so you can purchase Yzma without her Horoscope branding on products here and she looks like this

The next design will be released mid October, I really hope you like this idea and enjoy this series, I have put a lot of heart into this.

Disney Loungefly @ Zavvi

Hello Friends!!

Being a plus sized lady, I can’t often buy Disney clothing ☹️ This means that the easiest way for me to show my Disney side on a daily basis is via accessories, more specially bags.

I am an obsession Disney bag collector, I probably have over 50 Disney bags and the majority of my collection come from Loungefly.

Loungefly is a brand that, until recently, was only really stocked on Amazon (at extortionate prices) or in boutique shops that had imported from America (at extortionate prices).

I know that since Shop Disney launched in the U.K. they have some Loungefly bags available but Zavvi have launched their Loungefly collection in the past couple of weeks and have by far the biggest online collection at reasonable prices!

Cath Kidston X Snow White Collection – Sneak Peek!

A sneak peek of the AMAZING new Snow White collection by Cath Kidston has just dropped into my mailbox and all I can say is WOW!

You all know I’m a HUGE fan of all the collaborations that Cath Kidston have done with Disney. I own pretty much all of the Alice Collection (even as far as buying clothing items that didn’t go up to my size that I amended to suit!) which was, by far my favourite collaboration. However, the designs coming out for the original OG Princess Snow White are really something special!

I thought I’d share some of my faves from the items that I’ve seen so far.

The scattered blossom and singing birds collections are by far my favourite

There are also some lovely clothing items and pyjamas that caught my eye

The whole feel to the items that feature Snow is very simplistic and feminine staying true to Cath Kidston Style.

This bag is by far my favourite item of the collection and I may not be able to resist treating myself …

The collection drops onto the Cath Kidston website and in stores on Thursday the 20th September, be sure to be quick as the popular items can sell quite quickly!
